Our client, a reputable, established company is looking for a hands-on 3rd Shift Compounding Supervisor to join their team in Port Washington, WI as a full-time employee. 3rd shift hours are Monday-Friday from 11pm-7am, and as a Supervisor, you will be expected to come in around 30 minutes early and stay 30 minutes late to assure a smooth transition. The Compounding Supervisor leads the Compounding Department to safely weigh, batch, and blend the customer's product to the appropriate quality standard in a manner consistent with customer expectations and internal policies and procedures. This includes production efficiencies, waste control, human resource, safety, and quality concerns or issues. Essential Functions:

• Maintain and promote safety in all aspects of the facility in the Compounding Department.

• Maintain and uphold all quality procedures and programs relating to Compounding operations.

• Maximize productivity and efficiency at all times.

• Organize the workforce and set staffing levels at an appropriate standard without jeopardizing safety, quality, or productivity.

• Accurate management and reporting of timekeeping, production, scrap/yields, and other required documentation.

• Promote teamwork by demonstrating a spirit of collaboration and cooperation on projects with other plants and departments striving to meet project objectives.

• Maintain and promote strong work ethics and uphold all policies and procedures.

• Motivate team through encouragement and acting as a positive role model for all plant team members.

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

* 5-10 years of blending experience in OTC, Food Applications and/or Personal Care bulk manufacturing.

* Supervisory or Lead experience.

* Strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.

* Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint ), experience with Google Suite, and inventory / manufacturing software programs.

* Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
